Brian smith photography is a great example of how portrait photography can be good in black and white, the use of the expressions that each of the people in his projects, I like this picture the best because from this picture I can tell this guy is not very serious and it has a lot to do with the facial expression. The depth of this picture is also very good having no background is good as you can really see it in the angle that he is standing.

even though this is a painting this is something that really interests me within photography at the time I did not know how this was done and couldn’t figure out how to do this within photography however now I have done the research I know how to do it and will be sure to do this in the future for some of my work as this is interesting to me and is exciting.

finally, this is still considered a portrait in my eyes as this is still a profile of someone, however, this is not as close as the brief that has been given to us in this brief I found that this is not as good as some of the close ups as you need someone to fill the frame as this allows and pulls my wonder away from the person and looks into the background of where he is as well as the man himself.
