When making my idea i got a hint from someone to look into the Nestle scandal and how bad of a company uses both their workers and how they are more into making profit and are not caring for the people that work for them at all. The company are known for using children labour in LEDC’s, i found that this is awful and not following the views of which the people buying their products, many people do not know that they are using children for work and are not aware of what their companies CEO has said in terms of water. The fact that the CEO has said that and i quote “access to water should not be a public right” i find this unprofessional and in no way acceptable considering that as a company they are the biggest supplier of bottled water in the world.

Barbara Kruger has influenced me a lot in terms of the use of the way she uses words and the way that she adds things to a picture, for example in the picture above she has added a basic red border around the edge and added a simple statement which has a clear meaning without having to write out a lot about for the viewer to work out what the meaning for this picture is.

claude Monet Water Lily Pond Banksy appropriation

This would you believe is a Banksy this is also a big inspiration as this is similar to the work where i have added something to the old artwork to change the meaning of it, the image on the left is the original image of a famous painting water lily pond and it has been appropriated in the way which is makes its what a common day river would of looked like if the painting was done at this time instead of in 1899. This influenced me to add things to my picture and make it stand out that this it to make it obvious that they stand out, i have used it by making it bright and different to all the other colours in the picture like he has with the bright orange of the come and trollies.
